What is the difference between LSM and snap mirroring

  • 0

LSM or Load Sharing Mirror reduces the network traffic on FlexVolumes by providing additional read only access to clients.
Snap Mirroring enables you to replicate data from specific source volume to specified destination volume.
The difference between LSM and snapmirroring is that, LSM can be implemented only on the same cluster whereas snap mirroring can be implemented on a different cluster. Thus, based on your application , we can use 1 of the 2.
