Why the h-index for [1,2] is 1 ?

    According to the definition,

    if the input is [1, 2],

    2 papers have at least 1 citation;
    1 paper has at least 2 citations,

    how come the expected result is 1 ?

    Confused. Could anyone explain to me?

    Thanks

    OK. Solved.

    The statement in this question is slightly misleading.

    The WiKipedia is much clearer.
